  • Getting back signatures

    Hello everyone!
I'm Jack Kinsey; I've been interning here at Fox for the past couple weeks, and among other things, I've been helping out with the transition to the new forum site.
Bob suggested that it might be helpful to some to see a tutorial on how to enable forum signatures in the new interface, so I whipped something up:
    1st.jpg
From the main site, you're going to want to click on your name up in the top bar.

    3rd.jpg
In that menu, hit "User Settings."

    4th.jpg
Next, navigate to the "Account" page in the "User Settings" panel.

5th.jpg From here, scroll down a bit.

    6th.jpg
Next to "Conversation Detail Options" you'll see "Visible P0st Elements," which has a "Show Signatures" box that is probably unchecked for you.

7th.jpg If you check that box, signatures on forum posts will start showing up again. This is also where you can edit your own signature by clicking "Edit P0st Signature."

    8th.jpg
Finally, don't forget to save your changes before leaving the "User Settings" panel.

If you have any problems with or questions about the new forum, don't hesitate to ask me.

    Happy carving!

I noticed that my signature does not show up when I make the post but if I leave the thread and come back to it, it is there.

That was easy Jack, thanks for the help.

If I took the time to fix all my mistakes, I wouldn,t have time to make new ones.
