If you are having trouble with logins and not being able to post a message, try this.

Open your web browser and empty the cache.
Quit your web browser.
Re-start your web browser.
Type "www.woodcarvingillustrated.com" in as the URL.
When the page shows up, log in over on the right side. This login will allow you to read messages, but not to post any.
Now click on Edit Profile in the upper right corner. A new page will appear and ask you to log in again. Go ahead and log in again, even though it says you're already logged in. Make sure you check the "remember me" box. While in your profile, you can upload your avatar and create a signature. Be advised that the BBCode part is not working properly, so if your signature includes a URL or image, it may not work correctly. Don't forget to Save.
Now navigate over to the forums and you should be able to post a message or start a new thread.

I agree, it looks like things are getting better each day.
I look at it like we were invited on to a jobsite (under construction) to use the functions that are working while they work on the others. I know they will get the same functions as before and new ones added.
When I come here, I'm sure to wear my OSHA approved hardhat and patience..

Someone else's signature (spam?) is on my posts.

I will try to clean that up myself.

When I come back to the site, it does not show me as active, but I can post without logging back in.

For me, The drop downs (Our Magazine, How To, etc.) are in white letters and do not show up unless over a darker area.

UPDATE - it appears to be an issue with my work computer and an old browser. Works fine at home.

I have to re-sort a couple of times by date in a forum to get the most recent thread to appear at the top.

Once I figure things out and all the tangled mess you all have been working on gets straight, I think it'll be mighty fine.

There are still some tweeks needed, but it gets better each day.

I'm going to list a few things that I notice when visiting.

UPDATE - seems to be a browser issue at work.

I could not log in because the boxes did not show up anywhere on my screen. Finally figured out to reply to a post and then it gave me the option to log in.

When I went back to the main page it was there also (little late), but the search box was slightly superimposed over it.
