I am sorry for your losses. My brother is going through the loss of his wife. His his dog and his grandkids keep him busy but it's just not the same. He was her caretaker for a long time as she was a stroke victim.

So sorry, Brian. Words, of course, are inadequate at a time like this. The quiet is bad for several reasons, but perhaps the worst is that we have time to dwell on losing our loved one. Best to force yourself to be amongst others even when you don't feel like it.
