The bride is supposed to buy me a bottle of Makers Mark for an aniversay gift today, must remind her about that, have to get the ice ready

Hate to say this Bruce but if you don't like CV Northern Harvest Rye, you might not like Makers. Makers is very light and smooth, lighter and smoother than northern harvest. Taste is delicate. Reminds me a bit of Oban 14 scotch but without the smoky, peatiness..

The gift never showed up LOL, I guess the honeymoon is over, If Makers Mark is like northern havest I will ask for a bottle Jamison irish whisky. I was in love with it for a few years after our trip to Ireland 11years ago
