Yeah...I was up til 3:15 am! Woke up just in time to watch the ball drop, fell back asleep in my recliner, woke up again and it was 3:15 am! Went upstairs to bed! Yeah...I'm a real party animal!

I'm here. Was putting some things away in the kitchen, about 12:30 AM, glanced out the window as the motion sensor had turned the deck lights on =
The flying squirrel was on one of the bird feeders again!!!!!!!!! Huge black eyes for the nocturnal habit. -10C so didn't want to disturb the feed.
I hope that's a good omen for 2017.

Was in bed by 9 pm, slept through it as usual, and I didn't even leave a dent in the new year.

Us too 9pm mountain time climbing into bed slept soundly until 6am. Happy 2017 All.

Went to bed around 11. Woke up around midnight. Lot of loud blasting going on. Sounded like mortar fire! I heard at least one automatic weapon. LOL! This went on for about 15 minutes. I rolled over and went back to sleep.

Hi Y'all
Just returned from Gander Nl, we had a very nice 10 days in Gander with dear friends, even enjoyed a bit snow, came home tonight to bare ground and -1c temperature, got to say I love winter temperature like that, I guess we were first ones to say happy new year with the Newfie clock a half hour ahead of mine.
Its back to carving tomorrow, by the way I got major brownie points for the Santa I made for loving wife Judy.

Wash out here for the start of 17 . 9 1/2 inches of rain sense New Year's Eve. Hoping it clean the path for a good year ahead. Hope everyone has a great year!

New Year came in with hubby & I sleeping in late. Exercised the dogs, had a quick bite to eat then back to the bedroom and watched the parade. Nice start to a new year. Light rain, no problems.
