Good Experience

A couple of weeks ago I ordered 2 carving books from Chipping Away in Kitchener Ontario. The parcel arrived promptly, but there was a mistake in the order. The company had shipped one of the books I had requested , but the other book in the parcel was not one that I had ordered. I emailed them about this mistake, and they replied immediately saying that they would send me the book that I had ordered at no charge to me.
Today I recieved the book that I had originally ordered as they promised, and I noted that it cost them an additional $ 4.70 in postage, not to mention the cost of the book. I'm sure this more than wiped out any profit that they may have made on the original order. ( I feel bad about this because the mistaken book in the first order is a great book as well.....just not the one I ordered)
So I would like to say a big THANK YOU to Chipping Away and hope others see this and direct some buisness their way;....they are a great company to deal with; you won't be sorry

There are some honorable companies out there.....and it is good to know who they are. They are rare birds these days. But as I see it,....the ones that are not honorable will fail in the end, people have had it with ones that can not stand behind their goods or their own mistakes. Thanks for the posting ....I am sure it will help tons of other people

I guess you can call Chipping Away one of the "Good Guys" , I recently had a supplier order from China on Ebay refund my purchase amount, they had supplied me with a tracking number, tracked parcel across China and lost after it arrived in Canada
