Dodo bird

Hi Y'all
I might need some help with the contract I took on to carve a DODO Bird for a theater group in Halifax, it is going to be 12 inches tall and carved from yellow cedar from BC. I have had the cedar kicking around for about two years never had a project I wanted to use it for, this bird is just going show the natural wood, no painting, just sealed with matte poly varnish. I will post pics as I progress in WIP, stay tuned

I got a couple of images on line, I am getting them blown up to the actual size I want the beast to be, it shouldn't take to long to carve it, I got a new Wecheer recip carver for my dremel my old one quit after six strenuous years of use. I will keep ya posted
