harbor freight going out of busiess?

saw several postings that harbor freight is going under is that true anyone know?

The july 2017 ad says "everything must go".

I was in the store a few days ago and asked them. A clerk said it was an unfortunate choice of words and that they are not going under. Methinks a sales gimmick?

Strictly a sales gimmick...I would expect that every retail establishment could wish 'everything must go', so they could restock and sell it all again!

A lot of retail establishments should take lessons from Harbor Freight, not the best of quality, but the prices fit everyone's pocketbook. They have become the Walmart of tool sellers. It also looks like they are "rebranding" some of the tool line names. I think the Chicago Electric brand will soon be history.

Was in Las Cruces New Mexico a while back, they told me a new store will open in Alamogordo, NM after KMart closes their store.

When the United States and China proclaim formal hostilities there will a lot more stores than just Harbor Freight closing their doors. Every dollar spent on an item produced and bought from China benefits the CCP. The American public is in a bind right now because even our own national brands have shipped their plants overseas but the Asian continent from the Sea of Japan to the South China Sea is a political chess match and it's not if but only when things will boil over.
