  • The fishing bear and other embroidery.

    Hello Community,

Today I would like to introduce my wife's hobby.

The embroideries that you can see in the photos embroidered my wife by hand.

I like the fishing bear best. But also the other motives are very nice. The Statue of Liberty embroidered it to commemorate our trip to the United States.

At Christmas time, she also embroiders greeting cards with Christmas motifs.

Very, very, nice! My wife does needlepoint and has done a 12x14 replica of the Vietnam Wall and a 10x10 picture of two Panda's for me. I'm completely blown away by her talent and patience!

yes, I also admire the patience of my wife. For Christmas, she often embroiders 40-50 greeting cards. For this she starts already in the summer with the embroidery works.

Can you please show photos of your embroidery?

      Thank you

I also do needlework....and give it as presents those darn things take forever.....years at times. It is craft hobby that I can do in evening while watching tv or listening to audio books. Sorry I do not have any photos. It is often cats or oriental looking scenes.

          hello Dileon,

Oh, that's unusual for a man embroidering! I have no patience and I have too bad eyes.

My wife also gives away all her embroidery. She has been embroidering for 30 years. She is an artist in it. Too bad you can not show photos.

            I

I am not a man at least the last that I looked,....my first name is French so people do often think it is a male name.

              Hello Mrs. Dileon,

Excuse me . In the photo you can not tell if man or woman. The photo is too small. Di (leon) ..... Leon is a French male name. That's why I thought you were a man.

Compliments to your wife, Tas! Lovely hobby, and the number of Christmas cards she does is impressive. Her output puts us (well, at least me) to shame!
