  • New Office

Pictured is my new office I officially took a early retirement as of Monday 10/21 due to some medical issues from my recent knee replacement. Looking to spend allot of time in my shop carving and coming up with new designs and projects.

Wow!... I don't envy you for going through knee surgery, but I'd sure like to have a carving "office" like that. Looking foreward to seeing lots of new creations in the future.

That’s quite the office. Hopefully the knee isn’t slowing you down.

Well, I am glad you will get to spend more time carving! Maybe I'll run into you at the Renegade or someplace again. I have a shelf full of Ace bandages and knee braces if you need any!

Good for you. Contrary to popular belief there is life after retiring! We may have had to watch the budget a bit more but I don't regret taking early one single bit. Back just before my Dad passed on he told me that life was short and to retire as soon possible. When my health declined early on I took his advice as soon as I could and have loved every minute of it. P.S.... I've got drool all over my keyboard after seeing the photos of your studio. That's insane!

And I have always said, Mark ..What is best after the first year of retirement? The 2-3-4-5th and so on. Welcome to the OLD gang. Sorry about the knee problem.. My one only has had 3 surgeries. and pops out when IT wishes. The other ,, I don't talk about it... Now show off that work going on..

Congratulations Mark, on your retirement. Now you will have plenty of time to do some serious carving. We hope that you will continue to share with us and will have many years of enjoyment in your retirement.

Dang Mark. Looks like you should have a big retirement party, and we will all bring out tools. That is almost too nice to work in. Don't let the honey-do's get you down.
                          Enjoy your retirement Mark. Tom
If I took the time to fix all my mistakes, I wouldn,t have time to make new ones.

Thanks all yes I'm very blessed with the shop I have, wish I had a better turn out with the 2 replacements I had to have done on my knee in 21 mos. but you know I could always be allot worse so I'm not complaining.
