  • Busy week a head

Life has been interfering with my carving and stick making. I have 4 projects to finish in the next 3 weeks. Now if the car, the house and the daily trivia of life will let me I am going to carve and make sticks. My wife just came by ,saw what I wrote and said "GOOD LUCK"!

Well, good luck, Randy. I'm lucky to be a recluse and isolated for the most part from daily interference...but do remember those days.

Well , all that been said, I have had the croup/skuzz/ barking like a fox along with a real box in my throat. Akin to swallowing a dried out pine cone backwards.. Now even feeling like doing any chip flipping.

Yes, it's sad to say but the Thanksgiving holiday is not all that conducive to carving. I guess it's just the big guy upstairs way of telling us we can't have all the good things in life all at once!

I miss having all of the Thanksgiving stuff going on. I am a recluse in training. I can however carve when ever I wish, and for as long as I want.. Which I am thankful for. My only concern is running out of Basswood, and motivating myself to carve. I'will also be getting some Basswood for Christmas. So far the motivation has been working. Everyone, have a great Thanksgiving.

                  Good Luck Tom. Happy Thanksgiving

I too am behind. I always participate in the ornie exchange, didn't start early enough this year and minor procedure on my hand took longer to heal than I expected. Oops.
