I carve in the garage, and like Brian, I sweep chips into the corner now and then (mostly then...) The welcome mat catches some of the chips, but others stick in the crevices in the bottom of my shoes/sandals and get tracked into the kitchen. I just grab the hand-held vacuum and pick them up when I see them (or when the boss sees them...)
