Honestly when I was a little child never thought I live this long. It has been stormy and rain produces hundreds of waterfalls in the mountains. Right now praying the rain continues tonight ...tons of illegal fireworks that sound like bombs or worst a total war zone will go off for about seven hours tonight. Nothing worst then praying your house does not catch on fire. I have been pondering the 80802580_10217486644332447_1359694961246732288_o.jpglast few days on what my next project will be...clearly I can still do art in spite of my eyes being so bad...guess it also has nothing to do with the eyesight, guess the brain knows what to do??? But wish everyone a good woodcarving year...and best of life in the New Year.

Wishing you a very Happy New Year. Looks like a wonderful place to live, here we are in the middle of a snow storm, just back from walking my dog, she's a Husky so snow days are her favorite.

Had a Husky when I lived in the mainland, left him there,.... because of the
the heat here would have been murder on him ...went to a good family. Sure do miss that dog ...lots of good laughs including how he would grab my youngest by his snow suit and drag him around in the snow....Joe always thought it was great fun. , smile.

Happy New Year, Di! And everybody else, too. I hope every body still has a roof.

My next project for the new year is to carve an authentic-looking bridge for my 115 year old mandola. The current one works well, but looks (and is) pretty jerry-riggy. I have some scraps of ebony to work with. Now all I need is to get a round tuit.
