  • Well we are finally in!

Finally moved into the new place here in Connell, WA. Whew!! to say the lest. 1/3 acre and a 2000 sqft home all brick. great big garage,,,,,,and Jane says now you have room for a WOOD SHOP out back . I am drawing up plans for a 20 x 24' building AC summer /heat winter. So far all the carving tools are gathering box dust?
Small town and so far great people here first day one couple brought milk shakes and sat and talked, the other came around and chatted brought plants and told about the area. And have missed out on what is happening , so will have to catch up on you all.

Congratulations on your new home! And being in before winter is always nice too! The dust on the carving tools will be easily removed once you have your new shop!

My daughter lives in Spokane above you. She went to college up there and stayed. It is such a different environment from here. But affordable as it is one of the places people move from here to there. Figure by the time the pandemic is over half the island will move out, overcrowded and top in the nation for being too expensive and not affordable,....we are in the top three places of where not live during a pandemic for lots of reasons. Moving is not fun coming here, reported then I would never do it again. Glad you are starting to settle in. Building a shop should be a fun project.

Congratulations on the new home, Chuck! Sounds like a really nice, friendly area. I've always favored small towns.

Plans for the shop are great, but you'd better hurry before the weather gets too cold.

Before they slip me over the standing part of the fore sheet, let them pipe: "Up Spirits" one more time.

Thanks to all,, and am trying to get bids on the shop. Several calls so far one guy has shown up, 35-40 miles north of the Tri-Cities of Pasco-Kennewick-Richland WA. so it's hard to find someone that wants to drive up here to "look go back work up a bid then comeback etc." And excavation, concrete work plus the building stuff. Whew and permits,, inspections are ~~~~~```` ~~~sharks waiting too. BUT love the house and this little town, even going to the post office for mail.. Wife is happy , guess that is 99%?
Cheers and will keep in touch And did use my Dremel yesterday to autograph a gift for a person,,, oohh felt good...
