Drive Saturday wasn't too bad. We delayed leaving home until about 10am, and the rain had mostly passed by. I12 to Slidell, then I10 on to Tallahassee. We hit a couple of slow spots - traffic backed up for a couple of miles - some rain - mostly just light or sprinkles. One stretch a bit to the West of Tallahassee, we slowed down to about 40 and stayed to the right. My wife is not a calm passenger, and didn't get stressed out from the way I was driving, so I guess I was being careful enough. Sunday was more of the same. I75 was stop and slow in areas and rainy. Once we got on the Florida Turnpike (toll road), traffic lightened up a bit. Granddaughter (9) was happy in the back seat playing with her phone most of the way, or chatting with her friends.

Glad your trip went well Claude. We ended up with just under 4 inches. No issues for us either. Just north of Mobile things got bad with tornadoes. Lots of damage.
