Our sister in law came home from the hospital yesterday after 25 days with covid. It was a long struggle and we are very happy to see her on the road to recovery from the disease.

Wow! Glad to hear that she's okay. By any chance to she have or have the chance to get the vaccine before she came down with COVID? A lot of news on the TV about people still getting the bug (although less severe) even after being vaccinated.

It's great that she is over the top of the hill, just hope the glide to the bottom is peaceful.

No Eddy she had the opportunity to get the shot but chose not too which she now regrets. I read where it is less than .1% of the people with shot who get the covid. The media likes to stress bad news

I just found out yesterday that good friend, mentor, and fellow black belt who was also a retired Fire Department LT lost his life to COVID. From all I can learn it appears that he had not gotten vaccinated. I've got a couple of my own kids who have not been vaccinated and we're worried sick that eventually COVID will catch up with them. And all we can do is ask "Why not?"

As far as breakthrough cases, the vaccine does not prevent you from getting sick and does not prevent you from going to the hospital and if really unlucky death. This information was told to everyone but not many people see to know it So CDC printed in their new guidelines yesterday about six months too late. Tons of unknowns about the vaccine as we are still in phase four trials, which are being pressured to speed up research data on vaccines. I have a friend who works in a Missouri hospital, 40 percent of people are vaccinated. So I have my doubts now. As in science, we have a variant superbug..with tons of science unknowns. Big fights in science forum question do the vaccine work, or is it the Delta variant causing the surge in both groups?

What happens....science on a whole said it was too early to open up, vaccines just started and three possible variants could either not work with a vaccine or could be less effective. This is where we are standing, the unknown questions. People took off the mask and went back to normal life....and science was covered by the pro-vaccine manufacturers and government. My daughter refuses to get the vaccine, but honestly, I can no longer say if it works. from the research, I have done. I got the vaccine and got bad side effects from it....l figure if it works like the flu vaccine somewhat it was better than nothing. People who are vaccinated exposing themselves to new bad mutations is not good news. We are in the middle of pandemics which is not going away. Reports all over the world of breakthroughs on the vaccine coming in daily....but there are twenty vaccines hopeful at least one of them works. I can not tell anyone today to go get the vaccine, although I feel it is better than no protection.

Until I get clear world science information that is not bias data from the companies that make them....I will continue to do the pandemic world protocol mask, social distance, and major hygiene for airborne infectious SARS viruses. I know in history that is what they use for the Ebola virus and will do no less. The UK this week offers a glimmer of hope after a massive surge they are dropping down fast is it the vaccine??? . Hopeful that is the case? What we got going on is too many people do not believe we are in a pandemic and vaccinated people possibly hugging and kissing people who may be infected.

Had another old friend die from agent orange a horrid condition which by the way government still refuses to admit that it exists......way I see nothing changes...lies told to people are unbelievable today.
