  • Don’t get comfortable on the Gulf.

Early forecast for the potential for another tropical system on the central gulf between Texas an Florida panhandle late next week.

Not looking hopeful for next weekend. Models are starting to getting more unfavorable.

Six more days until peak of hurricane season! We're not out of the woods yet. Not by a long shot!

L91 is a mystery at this time. Looks like it will be Wensday next week before we will know what to realy expect from it. At this time it looks like rain at a minimum for the area hit by Ida. Lets hope thats all!

Well it looks as though this one will only bring some rain. Sorry for all those cleaning up after Ida but so much better than another storm. Still watching it though. Things can change in a few hours.

Time to start carving an ark...or at least a live preserver. Humidity at 90 per cent this morning, but not unusual. Grass growing like crazy but it's too wet to mow. Life in Louisiana...

It has been a wet year. Sadly we have time for some big ones. October has given birth to some nasty storms.
