Just +4C/40F, overcast and calm. Lots ofrain in recent days so the dampness just makes it seem even colder. All the west edges of our spruce trees have died, turning orange.
The hot spell (44C/110F) cooked the water-stressed trees.
Did I show you this? Maybe a mile or two from my place, down on the Fraser River.

Sitting out on the patio with my AM coffee. We never got the normal wicked hot weather in Sept...and the islands are in the mid-70s and 60s at night. It has been rainy the last two weeks...lots of pass-by rainfalls daily and the sun pops out again and a few rainbows can be seen in the mountains. maxresdefault (1).jpgAttached Files. Explore! Dream! It was a great day, Randy. 55°f at 0700. Skies bright blue, low humidity. Actually felt good putting on a flannel shirt again.

Your correct Randy! Fall is just around the corner. I actually got in my first carving session out on our front bench yesterday. The temperature was in the mid-80's, humidity wasn't all that high, and there was a beautiful sea breeze blowing in from the Gulf. A wonderful preview of good days ahead! We'll never see the same cool temps that you have but this front is suppose to dry us out and even if it's a little warm, lower humidity will make it conducive to spend more time outside.

71XNhEmtCjL._AC_SL1200_.jpgI have been painting in acrylics, for the reason that my eyesight is going bad.....and I decided to do tiny detail work, in order to keep the eyes exercised and trained until I can get insurance approval to get the doctors I need. I drink coffee while I work so have to be careful do not to get the paint into the coffee cup rather than paint water cup. I am painting a lot of paintings lately.... this is for a neighbor who helps me out a lot. It is noted this painting is not an original but a copy that can not be sold for profit. Neighbor loves dogs and this is for just a holiday fall item. It reminds me of back home. thought you might enjoy the fun. puppies, pumpkins, and sunflowers ...happy fall moments. The plus is it is helping to maintain my very close-up vision.. Explore! Dream! Discover!” aloha Di
