OK nap is over. I am awake and looking for my energy. I think I left it in my other pants. I am getting a blast of non fossil fuel 5 days a week for 9 weeks then I will be energy self sufficient and glow in the dark. That will be good for carving at night.
MAKE TODAY A DAY THAT LETS YOU SMILE!!

Have a great rest of the weekend.

At the moment, we're packed and stacked around the house, as my youngest brother is using the dining area to live in. He's a medically disabled cancer survivor, and if I hadn't put up a space for him, he'd be living on the street, which is unacceptable. He wouldn't even ask; I found out through one of my sons. Things are stacked and packed pretty tightly around here, though. I put up a partition wall so that he has some privacy. That just took up more space...
I wish you all a Blessing.

Not even a grasshopper clicking. Just +33C (92F) at my place. 40 miles east, it was +40C (104F)
in the shade on a ranch house verandah. More of the same today. These valley bottoms can be as still as can be.
I'd like a chair and a cold drink at maybe 6,000' please. In the meantime, I'll settle for my west-facing house wall covered with grape vines for shade.

Still putting up fences and gates and cutting down trees...., a lot of darn hard work on the mountainside, and dealing with bones that do not want to work that are major complaining. Darn good workout climbing that darn mountain side getting muscles workouts...Plus have to put in a garden, can things, and fix things. I had to repair a gutter trellis system that goes into rain barrels that collapsed of old age,... a few days ago. Now that was the task of getting those boards up that high, and climbing up and down the twelve-foot ladder took tons of creative process and dodging things falling. I missed a step going down the ladder, and did the leg splits on the ladder ( yes I always secure the ladder to the roof or tree or whatever) thank goodness I had both hands on the ladder and hanging there by my arms, should see me howl in pain on that one.
but got down ok, .... the good news is today I still walk just a bad limp which is normal anyhow...... smile. Shocked I have not done the splits since I was in my 40s..amazed I did not rip out a bunch of muscles, guess the old body still remembers the good old days when I did a lot of martial arts leg splits.. Anybody else who does this trick would have ended up in ER.. Anyway, it is fixed and should stand for another twenty years...... Am I quiet? nope.
