Yes and about your friends and family I am sorry to hear that.

And In December of 2018, After that I came down with a crud that they couldn't explain or would not and with my lack of breath and pains all over it was almost too much. Then they came out with the shots.. To me it was shutting the barn door after the horses were out.

So we'll never know the real thing will we?
Cheers and have a warm day, finally up to 27dgs.

As I've posted before, my wife and I have been deathly sick and it's not COVID, but a **** super-cold that I brought home from the hospital. And I believe that we got so sick for two reasons. The first being because of the lock down and isolation. We hadn't had a normal cold in over two years. And the second being because both of us are immune compromised in one way or the another. I understand DNA's position and that's his right and privilege but my wife and I will get that 5th booster as soon as we get her well again and for certain we will continue to wear masks into the foreseeable, future as well as maintain as much distancing as folks will allow. As for the shot we'd rather face a couple of more days feeling like crap than take the chance of getting another cold, the flu, or some mutant strain of COVID. As for the masks, you never know what the fella standing in a line next to you is coming down with.

I've never had more than maybe an itch at the injection site with any of the covid (or flu, for that matter) shots. I'm not going to tell anyone what to do, though I trust the science.

    Hi Guys
I had a massive bad reaction to the 3rd shot of phizer vaccine and was sick for 5 months. Had the 4th shot with NOVAVAX and had no bad effects at all . Not even a sore shoulder from the jab. Is something to think about.

The woman at the registration area say that if I wanted a 5th, they would give me one. I said fine...I'll head over to the clinic close to home something later in the week. She said I was here, go sit down and get my shot, so I did. Painless. Friday morning I woke up with a sore shoulder muscle and a 102° fever. Took some ibuprofen and went back to bed. Saturday morning, temp was 99.8° (normal for me when I get up is around 97.5° or so. Took another ibu. and sat in my office chair and nothing much for the day. Sunday, down to 99.2° when I got up. Did nothing much for the day (except fix food for my wife, as she's pretty much restricted to bed because of her lungs). Monday, temp was down to 98.8° when I got up - still a bit high, but getting better. Today, it was back to the normal 97.6° when I got up. First one of the 5 shots and left me feeling lousy for several days. I've been getting the Pfizer vaccine.

Claude..... All of the four COVID shots that I've received have been Pfizer. And I've had a strong response every time. Nothing like yours but at least a day and a half of really feeling crappy. My wife has been getting the Moderna and she's felt the same way. Last week my wife caught the same cold that I had and has been under the weather ever since. I would imagine that we'll wait until the first week of December or so before we get the next COVID booster. We'd really like a couple of days of feeling human before going another round. Glad to hear that you're feeling better.

Randy... We never stopped wearing a mask when around others, always use hand sanitizer when out and about, and try as we can to maintain social distancing. My wife is taking immune suppressing RA drugs and keeping her free of colds, flu and Covid has been our highest priority. Stay well!

Hi Randy, 10 days to go are 10 long days. Side effects are really not good....but...they will be gone a few weeks after radiations and then you will be glad to have gone through!! Keep going, it is a 'heavy time' but worth it.
