We use to kid that when they landed up at Fukuoka Air Base they'd get them half filled up with fuel before they realize they were cockroaches. The **** things would scare the hell out of you when in the middle of the night they'd buzz you in the house. The only things worse were the benjo spiders that got in through the sink and Ofuda drainages, and the rats up in the attic.

I am very mad at Santa because I have not gotten my new Lamborghini Aventador. yet !!! Best friend told me not to ask for the car because I will drive the darn thing like an old lady and that would be sad.

Eddy as he travles west to Alabama he has one arm in his coat and one leg in his long pants. He never knows what will be happening here. Sunny warm or Rainy and wet or a icey plam tree.

73°F here in Louisiana at the moment - rained an hour ago, and now the humidity is thick enough to spoon into a bucket. My gardenias are still blooming, and my cherry tomato plant is still producing...

Christmas in the south!
It must be that Christmas is just around the corner. Yesterday Mama decorated the house with what little bit of Christmas decorations that she's hung on to. And this morning there's Christmas music on the stereo in the livingroom and mama's out in the kitchen baking Snickerdoodles! The only thing missing is snow out on the front lawn and a roaring fireplace. But this is Florida so we have to be satisfied with 80 degree temperatures, flowers and shrubs still blossoming, and Ibis pecking for bugs in the garden, with squirrels burying acorns under the oak trees. By the way, it's expected that on Christmas Eve Santa will be wearing shorts, sporting his new sandals, and have all his reindeer outfitted with sunglasses!
