Just wondering how everyone is fairing down in the great state of Georgia. I know Bart and Arnold are down that way. Just wondering if they had any problems from the storms last night and today. Everyone in Georgia let us know if you are okay!

We survived at my end of town without incident. Surrounding neighbors did not fair as well though. Lots of damage all over the metro area.

I haven't heard from Charlotte Gibbs. Has anyone else? I'm sure concerned about her.
I did write to Ron Ransom and he's fine -- Thank God.

Most of the damage was south of here. We are fine in the mountains.

Thor, What part of the georgia mountains you from. I lived in Pickens county for 18 years, Loved it. My daughter still lives there In Dawsonville.

I'm north of Dawsonville in Lumpkin County; about 4 miles towards Dahlonega from Amicalola Falls State Park.
We had some weather here with the rain, thunder and lots of wind, but no damage this time. I feel for the folks who did.

Anyone heard from Arnold?? Not sure how close to Atlanta he is, but wondered if he and his family is okay too.

Hi Gang, I appreciate everyones concern. It missed us in Southeast Ga.. I did some heavy praying as I always do when the bad weather starts our way.. It was North of us.. I did hear their were a lot of homes damaged around Atlana. I am so glad that you guys are o.k. I haven't been on the board for awhile due to ill health and other circumstances but things are o.k. now.. Charlotte

I did get email from Charlotte Gibbs today and she is fine. A few limbs down but her son is coming to help her get the yard cleaned up.

Scary at times in Athens, GA, but we came through with flying colors!
