Anyone plan on attending this event in October? I plan on being there and taking some more caricature classes.

          Don:
Sounds like a great time, wish I could make it up that way.

I will see you there. Signed up for the realistic bust class. My wife will be joining me. Plan to extend my stay for an extra 4-5 days just to look around.

Ok, I had hoped we would be able to time it in our travels but not to be. So I have heard that there is a woodcarving store or hall of fame or museum or something in Branson. Can anybody shed any light on this? I want to find a good store if it exists in Branson. Thanks,

Peter Engler's woodcarving store is in the Grand Village on the "strip". Anyone familiar with the area can tell you how to get there. It is a "must visit" just to see the carvings.

Thanks Paul, after I posted this question I did some searching on Branson and came up with a lot of info about the area. You are correct and I will be visiting his establishment as well as Silver Dollar Village. I just wish I would be in the area long enough to take a basic beginners class. I will check it out anyway and maybe it will all work out. I really need some basic help and also some ideas. I have a ton of wood but it seems like the size and shape of the wood is never the right configuration for what I want to carve. I'm going to pick up a couple of rough outs and get going on something. I can't wait to get there. Just a few more days. Thanks again for your reply,

                  Ray
