Thank you my frien’s for the best wishes…..or perhaps I should say the congratulations on still being here. I found that, after I passed the half century mark, birthdays are not such a big deal. I did not consider the 70th any more important than the preceding……until I got home yesterday. My grand daughter handed me a homemade card (she turned thirteen the day before I turned 70). It felt really good to read, “You turned 70! Like you care, just another birthday, but I care enough to say
Happy Birthday.”
