This is an awesome Vise. We had this in our Back Shop at Garrett Wade in NYC (i was their Technician) and i will say that it can grasp an irregular shaped object with ease. Multiple axis points, really cool.

I have this same vise procured from Midway USA(gunsmith supplies) under the Wheeler Engr name.It is,by far,the most versatile vice I have ever used.I went a step forther and added leather pads to the wooden jaw pads that came with the vise.
