You're right, Pat, it is amazing how quick it is. I went for my one week check up yesterday, my eye is healed and I had 20/15 distance vision!!! My close up is still a bit blurry, but wearing a pair of readers clears it enough that I can detail carve!!! Unreal!!! They said the close up will get better and better, it takes four to six weeks for things to completely settle down!! This is 100% better than what I had before with either my contacts or glasses.....I'm one happy carver!!!! Deborah

Thanks, everyone, I'm still marveling over the difference in my eyes (eye!!)!!! You're absolutely right, Charlotte, it's wonderful the talent and gifts God has given to doctors, we're so fortunate to be living now!!!

Pat, I'm glad your surgery went well!!! I SO know what you mean about white....with my fixed eye I don't look jaundiced!!! Ha! Ha! All colors are so different than I've been seeing them, it's wonderful!!! I'm really anxious for next Monday to come to get the other one done!!! For now, I'm really looking forward to tomorrow, I'm allowed to do rotary carving, for the next four days....YEAH!!! Deborah

Thats grand news and I understand the great feeling you're experiencing now. I've completed the package and both eyes have been done. I thank my gifted surgeon , she’s a peach, and the Lord everyday. It’s grand for white to look white again and being able to take up this new endeavor.
