Merle's right, Forrest. You are definitely NOT alone! You have a lot of friends on this board who not only admire your skills and your work, but care about the man himself. You've been given a lot of good advice....One day at a time, and if necessary, one moment at a time. Keep carving as much as you're able....that keeps your mind off things and brings you peace. Id love to write and post a reply to you yall here but I wont be able. But Ive read each and everyone of your post here and I thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers,its helped me so much. Now I can wait to see about this problem and when I get that corrected I'll be kicken chips even higher!!

Just got back from vacation, so was late reading your post....i too am sorry for your troubles, but I have optamism that things will be fine. I too am retired from the VA where I was a PA in Surgery...I know that all the medical folks at the VA really care, they have to too work there for less money than in the private sector....it is the ****ed rules that get in the way. As you know, the key is to be persistant and vocal, make your problems and needs known to all and don't let up until you have an answer or an action....the folks at the VA are super and have great resources, so you will get the best care available..just hang in there and keep us informed.

You are RIGHT! I know I get the best health care at the VA and all Im doing right now is waiting on the paper work. They'll fix me up where I can be kicking field goals soon during the football season!
