Re: Thanks to my WCI Family and report on happenings

Wow Paul that was some story I felt I was right there with you. Pretty scary stuff for not only you but everyone around you. I am so happy to hear that you are on the mend and that the pronosis is good. But my friend these are little warnings that we must not take lightly. I always look forward to your postings you are one who explains everything in detail and tell a really good story. We want you around to tell more of your stories good and bad and also inspire us with your fabulous carvings. So my friend that I have never met though through this forum I feel that I know you really well, take care of yourself and abide by what your body and your doctors tell you

I just learned of your trial, and I'm glad I'm reading the best news. Paul, that story is riveting, but scary. I too, and glad you're on the mend.
      Take care,

Glad to hear your back home. No better place to mend than at home as long as you do not try to overdue it. Here is hoping you have a speedy full recovery. By the way you sure can tell a story. Thanks for sharing.

Re: Thanks to my WCI Family and report on happenings

My Friends I cannot thank you enough for encouraging words. Things are back to normal here in Whooping Hollow. Apparently the meds are in balance and my blood pressure readings have returned to the normal range..........and I have started back to carving.

Yesterday Diana and I were sitting on the porch having our evening libation. Then I received a reminder of a couple of recent threads here on WCI. Diana looked up from her laptop and said, "I've got a question."

I gave my standard flippant reply, "I've got an answer....and sometimes it's right!"

            "Where is your carving glove?"

Sheepishly I picked it up.....off of my lap.....put it on..... quietly went back to carving. I had taken it off while making pencil marks...............Yep, things are back to normal.

Welcome home, Paul.... we're all so glad you are back and will be telling us your delightful stories again. I assume that your evening "libation" was of the relaxing kind??? LOL. That would explain forgetting to put the glove on...
              Cheers.

Great to hear that your back and recovery is well on the way Paul! Your spouse is one alert lady to note that you hadn't put your carving glove back on...not a good thing to nick yourself while taking coumadin... Again, great to have you back up and carving! Continued great health to you and safe carving!
