    Wow, that was really useful!
    I love wood since my husband began to work with it a few years ago, but he prefer to make furniture, while I prefer to scrollsaw or woodcarve. Or at least, that is what I think, but I haven't completed any project until now: two little children, a new house in the last five years really didn't let me think about what to create or find some "free" time!!
    And, more importantly, here in Italy there are not so much places nearby where to find someone who can show the "best" way to carve (such as "try not to drive always the knife towards your body" and so on). I bought tons of books, but video is really something else!
    So I wanted to thank you.

    Just a question: I'm not so good at understanding english (or american ) so I didn't understand what was the wood you used in the video. You know, here I can found very little! The most common is fir: I tried with it, but that is absolutely not good to carve.

    I look forward to see something else from you that one can do in such a short time (as soon as I can, I promise I'll give it a try, or maybe two)!!
