Congratulations to Lynn O. Doughty!!

For those who haven't heard Lynn was honored last night by the Dayton Carvers Guild at the Artistry In Wood banquet with the Ron Ryan Award. This award is very special and is given to a woodcarver "who exemplifies the ideals of giving of oneself, expressing goodwill, and exerting the extra effort needed to promote woodcarving throughout the carving world." Congratulations Lynn!!

Congratulations....from the description of the award, I assume it was his blog that was the factor in him getting this award. I want to say how much I enjoy his blog and how much it has improved my ability as a woodcarver. Lynn deserves all the accolades we can give im for the fine service he provides out carving community.
