  • Charlotte Woodcarvers Club 2012 Showcase

The Charlotte Woodcarvers Club will be hosting their 2012 Showcase at the Marion Diehl Recreation Center from Friday 2/17 until Sunday 2/19 in Charlotte, North Carolina. This year's theme is Tom Wolfe Carving Traditions. This is a great show that includes mini-seminars, a carving raffle, two timed carving competitions, a silent auction, and several tool, knife and wood venders. You can see the information about the show and get a registration form at www.charlottewoodcarvers.com and go to the show link.

This is a great show and seems to be a good opportunity to see some great carvings and meet quite a few members from the forum. If you get a chance, come on out and join us!

Who else is planning on attending?

It's still up in the air with work, it always seems to get in the way, if I do it will be Saturday or Sunday, providing I get someone to watch my call for work.Any way hope y'all have a fun time, it is a great show, does anyone know if REL Knives will be present? Also I think Deiree Hajney will be present?

Hope you can make it Mark! The last I heard Ralph was supposed to be there with his knives, but Mitch may have more information about it. I'm hoping he is there so I can pick up a few more from him.

I definitely understand about work getting in the way! Look forward to seeing you if you can come!
