Hi Di,
Haven't been on here much lately but every time I see the news reports from over there, I think of you. Glad you are on high ground......sounds pretty wild.
I love the part about the frogs.....LOL That would be something to see.
We have huge, poisonus toads here but they're too big to be tossed around by anything less than a direct hit by a tornado....upwards of 2lbs each.
Stay safe. Maybe a "storm rider Santa" will come out of this????? Inspiration is everywhere....
Actually no one got hurt on this one.....that is a major plus. What worries me, is no one knows much about lightning, hail or tornado. The tornado, all the idiots are outside with their cameras and phones trying to take pictures, they do not know that in a minute it could drop to the ground and kill them all. They had the whole neighborhood out on the streets taking pictures and videos, and you can hear all the neighbors going wow, like it was a big block party. Its hailing hard, and the dummies are running outside and getting large hail stones to put in the freezer so they can show everyone. They have no idea they can get hurt really bad.
that is insane...... they don't notice what the hail is doing to the windshields of their cars or the metal, for that matter???? I hope this is not going to become a regular thing for your part of the world.....
I grew up in an area of very cold winters. We thought we had it hard, and the way to deal was better clothing. I don't know we would deal with what you guys are going through, makes the cold look like child's play. Hope things get better for your neighbors and you. It must be heartbreaking with the property damage, hope no lives are lost!
