    Please accept my heartfelt condolences for the loss of your Dad, think of him always and tell stories about him often, as this will keep him in your life and he will never be really gone.

        Kris, my condolences to you and your family. My uncle, also a WWII vet and member of "America's Greatest Generation" passed a few weeks ago. He was 87. As Americans we owe these men greatly for, in my opinion, we will never match what they did for us. God Bless you and your family.

          Sorry to hear of the loss of your dad. He was a true hero and American. In my time in the Navy, I served with many Marines and they were all gentlemen, from the newest PFC to the Brigadier General in charge at my last command. The country is diminished for his loss.
