No phone calls from

Do not answer any questions on a phone call from Microsoft. My daughter got an after noon call from a jerk trying to get some personel info from her, she did not play along and he started yelling at her to give up some info, he was so mad ,he hung up. LOL Brought the computers in and things were good for us, but others were not so fortunate. Just thought I would pass this along.

I used to work for microsoft and that is not how they do things. He continued his crap and I told him to send me an email, just before I hung up.

Hi Kadiddle!
Did they have an Indian accent? Nothing against people from India, but we were getting calls from so called Microsoft people that had Indian accents.
We got quite a few hangup calls, incomplete answering machine messages and some actual voice contact with them.
This happened for about a month off and on about a month or so ago.

What I did after telling these donkeys to stop calling, which didn't help, they just kept calling back was-

I talked in jibberish and tried real hard not to let them know I was laughing my butt off in the back ground because I like to mess with jerk's minds.
So I said stuff like this
- goo ga gaa blah blah ca ca poo pooh type stuff. I guess they thought I was speaking some type of language because they tried to communicate in some other language I didn't understand.
They kept going and so did I! I started to ad some choice bad words in my jibberish like-
blank, more jibberish, S.O.B., more jibberish from me. They still kept going, so then I started mixing it up with FBI, FBI, CIA, police, and they finally hung up! I was almost rolling on the floor laughing.

We haven't heard from them since!
But now we are getting the same kind of B.S. in our emails. Don't fall for that crap either!
I mark them as a phishing scam.
Sometimes the email address even has microsoft in the address. IT IS NOT FROM microsoft!

Those dill weeds will try anything to get your personal information.

I always forward the e-mail messages as an attachment to this address - [email protected]

It is the government office responsible for going after spammers. Just remember to forward the message as an attachment.

There are also some phony Microsoft popups going around. These appear identical to the "alerts" that are sent out warning of spyware/etc. If you click on to remove the stuff you have downloaded a virus. This has happened to me when I use the net to attempt to locate special waterproof adhesives. And the adhesives always seem to be available from India. I have ignored the pop up, but have to work at getting rid of it. The delete or cancel will not remove the pop up. When I run my spyware and virus checker there has been no bad stuff that the "alert/warning" says that there is on my computer. You just have to be careful.

I just got another call from one of these jerks. Told him I wasn't stupid, I don't have a computer, told him he will get busted soon, go out and make an honest living, etc.
Next time I will sing to them! If that doesn't make them stop, nothing will!!!!

Sharon, yes he had an India accent. If I can talk to one of these shady ones, I will tell him to stop by Saturday about noon so we can make sure he gets what he needs. O.K. I dont think he comes this far north in N.Y. Oh well he will have to miss out.Take care all.
