The title, a new twist on an old saying!

I carved a figure, decided it wasn't quite right. Carved it again, got the part I didn't like to come out better. Something about the second one just isn't working. Boo hoo, I am done with this project. I am not even sure I learned anything from this! So frustrating.

Just had to vent.

Thanks, Jenny. I have several things started, waiting for a better day too. This one was suppose to go with two other carvings, for a show next week. Looks like it will be a duo instead of a trio. Dang, just to enough time.

Definitely a bummer. I guess blood, sweat and tears are part of the process.

I actually believe that for me.....bad carvings are part learning to do it better next time....you do not make mistakes, you do not improve.
