Don't worry Bob, growing pains can hurt at times, but your efforts and concerns have always paid off. All I got to say to those that not happy to consider that this site is free and there always be some one on this site that is always willing to help others.

Thing have been working better for me too the last week. Glad you are upgrading the site Bob. Sadly this has been a issue for other forums I visit also. There are those who just like to mess thing up. Sad that they are intimidated by a woodcarving site where people are just having fun and helping each other. Got to tell you some thing about them.

It seem glitch free now. Thank you Bob D.
Same for me. I got the first email notification for a PM that I've had for quite some time.

I believe the new forum will be pretty much the same as the old forum, just a new version of the software (I think...). Because of the old programming and hacking, my understanding is that it was almost impossible to upgrade the current version, so WCI decided to install the new version separately, as opposed to upgrading the old version.

Bob can correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks for all your work. This is such a great site and we appreciate all that you tech people do, even though I will never fully understand it.

I appreciate the effort. Just like road construction-get a few delays along the way, but the end result is improvement. This is still the best forum going.

I am sorry this is so frustrating.

We're working frantically to get the new sites up and running (in addition to Shane and my other responsibilities). But we need to temper the speed with patience to make sure everything is set up properly (so we don't have these sorts of problems on the new sites as well).

It was pretty bad for me a while back, but over the last few days I've been able to use it OK. Haven't tried the galleries.
