i think i never felt so bad as when i heard that american people were spitting on the uniforms of american soldiers returning from vietnam
any form of war is evil
and every fighting person offering his life for his country is a hero so no one should be forgotten irrespective of where they served

How about all of the Veterans of the ( Forgotten War) Korean War 35,000 KIA,
several thousand wounded, along with several thousands POW, along the MIA. My
two older brothers served the entire WWII, but let us not forget the Vietnam Veterans,
that were so rudely trashed and disgraced by several of the 'do nothing' public.

aside from the usual hoopla on veterans day I wonder if there are any ww2 vets on the forum. you guys were my heroes and nothing against anyone else but like I said you guys said it all salute
