seems like I can get them all to open if they aren't already displayed automatically. when they say attached image and then the link, I do not see a thumbnail image on the posting, just the link language.

OK, I got it. When I open a pic in Photobucket, there's a list on the right side, It's the IMG code thingie? at the bottom? of the list.
    Paste that into this text.

This is a new post of an old post of a western red cedar post. As I've said before, if I had caught this beast in my grape vines, I would have shot it.

In post #1 I'm seeing the thumbnails.
In post #2, I see links for the first two photos, and the entire photo for the third photo.
In post #3, I see the photo.
In post #4, I see the first photo, and a link for the second image.
In post #5, I see the link.
In post #6, I see the thumbnail for the attachment
In post #7, I see the photo
In post #8, I see the attached thumbnail.

Let me go in and "rebuild" the thumbnails and we'll see if the thumbnails are visible for everyone.

Mike, what is different about the first method on the new site from the old site. I might be able to adjust the settings...

Finally got here (been doing taxes all day...) I clicked on my bookmark, did not have to log in, and here's what I see:
    In post #1, I see 3 thumbnails
in #2, I see 2 thumbnails in the middle of the text and one large photo
In post #3, I see one small photo (larger than thumbnail, but small...
In post #4, I see one large photo and one thumbnail, which when clicked, becomes the large photo popup with greyed out background.
    In #5, I see a thumbnail
    In post #6, I see a thumbnail
In post #7, a large photo
    In post #8, a thumbnail
In post #11, I see two photos, first is large - second is half that, as Steev mentions.

Safari on a Mac OS 10, latest versions of both.

Try logging in again, Herb. That usually fixes it for me.

Mine isn't working with Firefox 36.0.4 or Internet Explorer 11 or Chrome 38.0.2125. I'm not seeing what you are seeing.

Re: Testing how to post pictures

This is what I see int the first post:

That seems to be how it shows up for any photos that are somehow uploaded to the forum. The ones linked by url to other websites show fine. But the great thing about uploading them to WCI ist that the photos are saved with the posts, no matter what happens to other websites or accounts or whatever. If I delete the pictures from my weebly account, then they won't appear on the forum.
