How I have been spending my summer.........

I thought some of you might enjoy seeing how I spent the month of July this summer. The wife and I just got back from a month long camping trip to Newfoundland. I have selected a few pictures in hope of making some of you envious.....LOL. I would like to show all of them to you but I took nearly 800 pics in total. Most involve either icebergs, atlantic salmon or puffins..........all of which I enjoy and I even managed to fit a bit of carving in during the trip

Aaah, Wayne, it has been in the 90\'s here so your photo do make me envious also. Glad to see you got some carving in.

Herb; it was far from 90 up there... You see me in that second picture (wearing the life jacket) ?.... it was 6 celsius (approx 42 fahrenheit ) that day, and the temp. never exceeded 11 celsius all that week ( July 5th to the 11th )
It\'s not always like that but for some reason this year has been an exception. I have seen it in the high 20\'s and low 30\'s (celsius) up there other years.............so much for Global Warming

Wow! And you even got to hold an iceberg! They look a lot bigger when they are out in the water. <smile> That picture of the Puffin with the vegetation in its mouth is a great picture, I can see that as a carving.

I agree with ya Tom; that would make a good scene for a carving...........and I would have just cause for doing something like that.. The attached photo is evidence of what one of them puffins will do to you if you get too close...............
