Picture not appearing

When I pull up a post and click on a picture it just goes to a dark screen and doesn\'t load the picture, is anyone else having this problem?

No problems with current posts, but anything historical (pre-hacking) doesn\'t work.

Mark, if you right click on the picture and then select open in a new tab or window, you should be able to see it.

Even on current post Phil, it says that I am not logged in. Not all, but only some. I guess we can see most, at least for now. I have tried all the suggested tricks. And yes I am logged in.

I haven\'t been on for a long time because I couldn\'t open the pics. So I thought I\'d give it a try again today. No luck. I can right click, left click, stand on my head and double click and i get nothin. I know Bob D worked hard to fix this site but it just doesn\'t work well.

Right click on the thumbnail photo, then from the drop down menu that appears, select either Open In A New Window, or Open In A New Tab. When done looking, close the window or tab and you are right back where you started ready to right click the next photo.

Ther is no photo. Only a link that when clicked on states not logged in even though I am logged in. If I do log in as asked, then I see pic. but cannot rewturn to post without leaving forum and starting all over again.

Try this to straighten things out.

Go into your internet browser preferences and delete all cookies. Then delete history. If there is an option to delete website data (this is data websites have put on your computer).

Delete the bookmark for Woodcarving illustrated, if you have one.

Quite the internet browser.

Reboot your computer.

Start up the internet browser after the computer finishes rebooting.

Type into the URL line: www.woodcarvingillustrated.com

When the new page comes up, select Forum under the Community pull down menu.

On the forum page, select Forum Log In under Community, then log in with your username and password. Click the Remember Me box. Be careful of Caps/lower case letters. Usernames are case-sensitive, just like passwords.

When the new page comes up, select Forum Home Page under community. When the forum home pages comes up, bookmark it. From now on, starting from this bookmark should log you in automatically.

To check if it\\\'s working, look at the top right corner of the screen. If you see white letters on top of the fish that say Welcome, Your Name, Notifications ... then you are logged in.

The reason for doing all this is to get all the old links to WCI forum out of your computer. For some reason, the computer will not always select the latest one, and the forum will not recognize your saved data as being correct.
