    Re: Impatiently waiting...

I'm getting impatient too.. still waiting for my order and the email said they sent it last Monday.. LOL

What burns me is when you decide to do the overnight thing.. and its still another week before it gets here. Where does my extra charge for this service go? They sure dont give it back to me. Grrrr.... I had this happen when I was needing some garden things last year.

      Re: Impatiently waiting...

I for sure am a impatient person as well.

they hide my christmas presents for months before christmas and only let me see the package on christmas morning, becuse i can generaly guess what it is by the size of the package,

we make lists during the summer of things we want, we dont buy just for the sake of it we buy things we know the persons want or have wanted.. no waste here.

i made an order from rick friday night, and i know it will be at least a week before its delivered rick said it was shipped monday, but you know what,,, im ready to go to the mail box to get the package right now.
it always gose like that. and just about the time i think it wont come today, it comes while im taking a nap, on friday afternoon, and i wont be able to get it from the post office till monday....

      marci..
if you pay for overnight, and dont recieve it in 24 hours they are suppose to refund the difference, but if its a 50 mile drive, its now too cost efficient to drive into town to clame the failure of timely delevery.... haw

        Re: Impatiently waiting...

I know even if Rick had nothing else to do but wait for my order and pack it up as soon as he got the order, it will still take at least a week to get up my way.

I'm still beating a path down to the PO every day.

        Sarcastic

Paying for overnight in my area is useless, as I live in what is considered a 'remote' area. 600 miles north of Vancouver is remote???

Whitecree, I feel your pain, that's how I feel with every single order I send out. I just can't wait to have the new....absolutely have to have...tool in my hand right now!!

Your plight reminds me of my youngest son, he saved up the required proofs of purchase and sent for a Nestles' Bunny Mug. From the day we sent for it, he started checking the mail box, by the end of the first week he'd stand waiting for the mailman to come and ask him why he hadn't brought it yet! When it finally came, the mailman said he was as excited about it as my son was! Deborah

Heh heh heh. Sounds like a good postman. "My" postie stands behind a counter and offers me sage advice such as "Oh, didn't you know? Your wife told me she cancelled the order."

            Sad
