    Beautiful Downtown Pacific

    Last week I was visiting in Puyallup, WA. Needed some bark so I had the pleasure of visiting with Art 'The Bark Guy' Olver in Pacific, WA. Had a great visit and ended up with about 20lbs of cottonwood bark at $5 a pound (the math is left as an excercise for the reader).

    Art has some great carvings in his shop and certainly deserves his nickname!!

    He does indeed! He has some of the most fantastic I have seen! Especially the one of the mountain man his brother got.....shucks LOLCowboy

      I'm envious, I'd love to meet him in person and see his work, sure do love his cottonwood bark! I'm just finishing up a mountain man and it carved like a dream! Deborah
