  • Bishop Elk City Caring Class

Here are a couple pictures of the class and their spouses. We had one Lady carving with her husband.

The last picture is Denny Neubauer demostrating his newist knife sharpener machine and putting to rest some sharpening myths.

Here is one for tony amd Mark A.

Ask Vicki about her yearly bath!
That'll teach her to make me do chores!

Yes, I think we did. BTW, The fat guy in the camo shirt was me. I have lots more to learn and found out some new techniques in handling gouges. A little ackward at first but finding myself using that technique more and more.

Definitely out side of my comfort zone but have signed up for their class again in Oct and trying to talk the little bride in to going out to Great Bend Kansas Next June also.

Mell, Ther first Picture the fat guy by the pole next to the cowboy. Hehehehehehe! The Pole need proped up so I........... well, maybe it was me who needed proped up.
Mark, Vicki got out of it ok but took a little bit.
I agree, They make the class fun and puts the carvers at ease. I was a little intimidated when I found out how many classes the rest had and from Whom they had the classes. Two just got to Elk City from Debbie Edwards class the week before.
However, A few minutes into setting up, I broke the ice, I dumped a 32 oz of tea all over the place. Vicki being the graious lady she is, Just smiled and started cleaning up and told me to go ahead and set up my light and stuff.
They have it together, no wasted time.
