  • Global Warming!

Contrary to what you might be hearing on the news this morning, we're still functioning here in the midwest from that "Blizzard" they were talking about last night. I didn't get my ruler out but I think that "Blizzard" might have amounted to about 1 1/2" around here. Still, it did make a pretty photo of the shop and Gallery with the sun coming up.

    Lynn

You could make that pic look a bit better,

just changing little things you know like

change the trees to plam trees ...

change the snow on the outside of the fence to a nice white sand

change the snow on the inside of the fence to crystal clear tropical water

change the background to a nice ocean front view

Add a hammock table and a fresh made spiced rum ........

But all in all if that isn't possible , you have a pic that is an outstanding home.

    Stay warm .

Beautiful place you have ther, Lynn! we missed the "blizzard", as we were a bit too far north, but hey, it "globally warmed" all the way up to 19 degrees F here already this AM. From somewhere around -5 F last night.

We ended up with 5.5 inches. but naturally we had to have a 1/2 inch of ice first. About 8 degrees this a.m.

              Re: Global Warming!

Lynn, that is a beautiful picture and it is pretty around here also.

              However,

Unfortunatelly, we here in SEK did not miss the Blizzard and have 15 inchs of snow in the lowest part. Now that is just my messaureing in several different spots in the yard.
Now 15 inch isn't much to some of you but when your totally snow fall a year is about 9-10 inches, 15 in one night is a little much.

BTW Lynn, you can come up and dig out the driveway and sidewalk. That is if you don't have anything to do!Jester

                  Re: Global Warming!

Wow what beautiful pictures! Up here in MN we didnt get snow , but we sure do have the cold wind. 11 below wind chill two days ago.

Its hard on the body going from the high 50's to single digits in only a day or two.

The inlaws up at Camdenton had 16 inchs also but the ones northwest of Ft Lenardwood only had about 5 inchs but hasd a couple inchs of ice.

Sounds like you've already tasted the "Spiced Rum" and found it unresistable, hic.
