                Lynn,
                He's great!
I worked at the KC Zoo as a zoo keeper in the '70's. I saved a chimpanzee from drowning, right place right time. She tried jumping the moat, fell in and sank like a rock, clawing for the surface, panic in her eyes, letting all her air out and settling to the bottom, still. I was on the outside of the moat with a dip net, picking peanut shells from the moat water. I ran over to where she sank, poked her in the stomach with the handle of the dip net...she grabbed it and I pulled her out, on the outside with the public. She was a notorious biter, several keepers had been lured into her grasp and Blackie'd grab their hand and bite the heck out of 'em! I took her by the hand. She was crying, chattering, pointing at the water and hugging me! When she calmed down enough we walked hand in hand back inside the Great Ape House, me comforting her and her weeping and chattering. She could have bit the heck out of me, but it never crossed her mind.
She was always thrilled to see me after that, even a few years after I no longer worked there.
Incredible animals! Yours is especially nice!
Ron, that's not what you look like at all...more like an orangutan! Just kidding, you old gorilla!

                      Hey!
Know why chimps got big nostrils?
They got big fingers! Ta dump!
Know the difference between boogers and broccoli?
Kids won't eat broccoli! Ta Dump!
Sorry; I have another one but thank goodness I forgot it.
