    Re: A hot date

HEHEHEHEHEHEHE! I have never forgot her anniversary or her birthday. However, there were several times she received a hunting rifle or something to go with hunting. Never had an adverse reaction from her.Of course she has went out and bought herself some nice things also. Just the way it is sometimes. To forget an anniversary or birthday doesn't mean your souse or you don't love each other. Well, maybe to some it does. There are worse things in this world than forgetting either one.

      Kenny,
In the long run I it wasn't the worst thing I could have done. Looking back on it now it is funny (but I try not to mention it around her). It was one of those things that when I walked into the house I knew she was mad but she wasn't telling why. When I would ask what was wrong she would just say "Nothing." and then not say much after that. That gave me plenty of quiet time to figure out what I had done. When I realized what it was that was a huge kick in pants. I think she had me on a timer to see how long it would take me. She was pretty mad at the time.

One of my buddies uses this story as a shield whenever he gets in trouble with his wife. At least I'm not as bad as Brian who forgot his 10th anniversary. I like to tell him that I sacrficed myself so he could get out of trouble.

Heh - it's almost proverbial how people say that men forget things like anniversaries and birthdays. Not me!

On the other hand, my wife has forgotten these things several times. Do I rub it in? Well - once.

        Never again...
