  • Encouraging a new carving Club listi

.It would be great if the forum could build back the state by state carving club list like it had in the old forum. It would be a good referral for the new carvers looking for help. And a lot of us that travel enjoy visiting clubs when we are on the road. I know it would take some time. If the magazine could do a article on clubs and ask for clubs to send in contact and /or locations of meeting It may be of help getting the information. I hope you will consider it.

There is one on the main woodcarvingillustrated.com site (http://woodcarvingillustrated.com/clubs/) but I guess its too hidden for many to find it.

Thanks Steev. Randy, is that what you are referring to?

We are constantly asking clubs for information; we love to run show reports and articles in News and Notes on what clubs are doing. Unfortunately, we don't get much of a response from clubs.

Hi Bob, Back before the change over to the new format there was a large list of clubs listed by states. You could go to a state and find clubs that had registered the location and times and or a contact. There are just 10 clubs listed now. I thought if a request was made the new list might grow. It would help new members to the forum and carving find clubs that may be with in driving distance. Once or twice a month. Just a thought.

It looks like you will have to re-enter the info.
