Sorry Merle... yes I started in 2012 picked up my first knife and went at it looking a pics and getting info here on this site. Then I purchased a few books and here we are. As I said you people on this site have been a great inspiration and have taught me a lot. Thanks.

Whew, I am glad you did not enter, would have cleaned my clock, thanks Tom.
Dileon, thank you.... don't enter your dragon here. (it will be great when done)
Joe, thank you. Too be honest I figured they might do better... but I am still pleased with the results.
    Thanks Wayne.... shhh, I am.
Donna, I do agree, it touches you somewhere.
Paul I agree, the Peoples Choice speaks volumes.
    Merle, thankyou I appreciate that.

Congratulations! They look really great, but you really should be competing in the open categories. these are good!
Open scares me too death... the rules are you must have 8 first place ribbons or 1 best of show to be in Open at the Kawartha Carving Competition. Now you can move up on your own but they do not recommend you do. For you too say I should be Open after four years of carving only speaks volumes of my work and for that I thank you.

Tinwood, thank you. They are liked by a lot of people. Thanks.

Too all that replied I thank you very much. My carving started right here on this site through you people and your help and guidance along the way. Heck it was only 3 years ago I was asking how to put eyes in a bird. Thanks a million to all of you.
