Molly Mouse & Chickadees

I made this a while back but didn't make a thread to show it off so here it is. I'm shy. Lol
Its a 5 prong hair fork. It's not a great picture of my hair ( very messy ) but I'm not a hair model.

Its not the first fork I've made because I've made dozens of them but it IS my first carved designed fork with a theme; Molly Mouse meanders meaninglessly over the Bubble Berry Bush. image.jpeg

This plaque I made for my brother. He took a course with the university of Toronro years ago where he was on a 3 week chickadee assignment at Algonquin park. Lucky guy.
I wish I coloured it ( at least filled it the pupils ) but I didn't

Very nice !.......are we voting?...if so my vote goes to the chickadees, the mouse is cute but I don't have enough hair to require a comb... lol
All kidding aside I think they are both lovely.

Nikki, You shoiuld have colored it. The birds and leaves in color against the wood background would have been awesome. Nice job.

Indeed I regret not colouring the chickadees.
I actually had some very colourful pastels picked out to use and I got lazy.
