Dog eyes

im carving some dogs and wanting to put in glass eyes, or something similar. I know there are are suppliers for fish and bird eyes, but what can I use for dogs? Some dogs eyes are more like humans and have color to them.

I have been carving and painting the eyes for a long time and had not used glass eyes but I just order some. Generally dog eyes are a dark brown, light brown and some look black. Based on the size of the dog head carvings I do I ordered 7mm. This is where I ordered from .

Randy is generally correct, but Huskies, Malamutes, wolves, may have blue or yellow eyes... Do a google search for the time of canine you are carving and look at the images...
